Participant Responsibilities
Attend all classes, be on time, and report early if possible. Check-in with a coach.
Bring your complete set of golf clubs with bag tag attached and Yardage Book to each class. (Always keep yardage book in golf bag)
Wear appropriate clothing based on current weather conditions. Closed toe athletic shoes, neat shirt, shorts, skorts, or pants. Caps, hats, and visors recommended but must be worn forward facing. Only girls may wear sleeveless shirts. Shorts or skorts must not be shorter than mid-thigh. We recommend that shirts be tucked in.
Please eat a small snack before class.
Bring a small container (no glass) of water. Sunscreen is recommended.
Observe First Tee Code of Conduct – Respect yourself, others, and surroundings. Be safe at all times with equipment and while playing golf. Leave the golf course and related facilities better than when you arrived.
Parent Responsibilities
Make every effort to arrive shortly before the start of class. Classes begin at 6:00 p.m.
Make sure your child brings their complete set of golf clubs, yardage book and water.
Parents are welcome to stay and observe classes but may not participate in instruction or interact directly with their child during class time. Observation areas are generally a short distance away. Please bring a folding chair if you’d like to stay.
Please make sure to pick up your child promptly when class ends. Classes can end at any time after 7:00 p.m. but no later than 7:30 p.m.
It is the parent responsibility to receive, read, respond and take action if necessary to various communications we may send or deliver from time to time. This might include registration announcements, class cancellations, certification dates, special events or other opportunities, etc. Please make sure First Tee West Texas is whitelisted in your email account. If you suspect you are not receiving emails from us, check your spam folders.
