2022 SPRING Golf and Life Skills Experience Class Schedule

Registration for the First Tee Program opens on March 1st at 8:00 a.m.. First Tee West Texas classes will begin April 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th, depending on your Level – location, and will run for 8 weeks ending May 23rd – 26th. The programs are for girls and boys at PLAYer, Par, and Birdie levels. Your child will only attend one class each week, between Monday through Thursday evenings depending on location and participant level. Each PLAYer, PAR, and Birdie class have limited enrollment.  PLAYer Certified participants will register for a PAR level class.  PAR Certified participants will register for Birdie class. All others will register for a PLAYer class. You will need to create a user ID and password if this is your first time registering for First Tee before you can complete registration.

CLASS LOCATIONS

Classes for the Spring will be held at the new Billy Munn Golf Academy, Ranchland Hills Golf Club, Nueva Vista Golf Club in Midland and Ratliff Ranch Golf Links in Odessa. All classes at all locations will start at 6:00 p.m. and end no later than 7:30 p.m.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

The fee for the entire 8-week program is $125.00 per participant and $100 for an additional sibling meeting the minimum age (7) requirement and is due at the time of registration. If your participant has golf clubs they are welcome to bring them. You can also purchase golf clubs through Golf Headquarters in Midland at a generous discount by informing them of being in First Tee. We can also provide a loner set or offer a shared set to participants to use throughout the entire program session. No participant will be turned away due to inability to pay. If you would like to request financial aid – enter the amount in the field that says, “Amount You Are Willing to Pay, if Any”.

When registering a sibling, you will need to apply for financial aid and enter the discounted amount ($100) in the field that says, “Amount You Are Willing to Pay, if Any”.

LIFE SKILLS EXPERIENCE

First Tee Golf & Life Skills Experience is the core curriculum of First Tee’s program. Participants progress over time through the various levels of the program by demonstrating knowledge learned during classes. Participants learn how to apply First Tee’s Nine Core Values in real-life situations while they are learning golf skills that are targeted to their age and ability. Participants certify out of each level by completing the required number of class hours and passing written and skills tests. The levels of First Tee’s program are listed below.
